In our 1860’s farmhouse - turned modern Sewing & Fashion Design Studio - we’ve been teaching adults, teens, and kids for over 10 years.  We love it!  We love the skill, playing with fabrics all day, and the creations our students make.  But most of all, we love the friendships and camaraderie it fosters.  

 

We’ve watched even our youngest students evolve into competent sewists.  Our students have created beautiful items for  their wardrobe, home and dorm rooms, with just a vision in their head, a great piece of fabric, and their own two hands.

 

 

Our classes are very small, with an average teacher to student ratio of 1 to 4.5.  Our studios are fully stocked with everything needed, and we have a pretty awesome fabric store right on site.  Add to that our covered porches and yard, and you have a perfect setting for learning to sew, while making new friends.  Over 80% of our students continue from one session to the next in part, because they’ve made wonderful friends and found a creative home away from home.
